ADDENDUM  TO  MANUAL

Re: I Beam Extrusion and Lift Strut Bracket

In order to maintain a constant level of safety and in an ever searching quest to make the kit easer to build, we find it necessary to issue this addendum to the manual. We thank you for your continued support and welcome your input.

 As of serial number 178 the I Beam extrusions as referred to in chapter 7 pages 13-16 will now be put in at the factory. This is a no cost addition to the kit and only supersedes the information referring to the installation of the I Beams into the Spar tubes and the location of the Lift strut brackets in chapter 7 on pages 11-13.

You can expect to find the Lift strut brackets on the Spar tubes and a soft aluminum rivet installed to keep everything in place during shipping. This rivet will have to be drilled out and the Lift strut bracket removed to prepare for bonding as per the books instructions. Be careful drilling this rivet out as you will be reusing this hole in final assembly.

This upgrade not only installs the I beam but also locates the position of the lift strut brackets for you.
